I am having an extremely aggravating and complicated problem with my new Ionic. I would like to upload a playlist of songs to it. All the songs are the same format and DRM-free, as I am the one who ripped them directly from disc. I am using the Windows 8-compatible Fitbit Connect program to transfer the music from my PC. Unfortunately, no matter what I try, only the first song on the playlist will sync. Here are more specifics on the various scenarios I have encountered:
I am beyond frustrated with this, especially since I wasn't able to find the problem's like in any of my online searches. Help with this issue would be greatly appreciated. I had been very much looking forward to using my Ionic to store my music for runs...

Hey there @TheActiveOtaku, it's nice to see you around the forums! Thanks for taking the time to post this and for already troubleshooting this inconvenience with your music on Fitbit Ionic. Nice way to go!
If you're having inconveniences uploading your songs, I'd recommend to make sure your Ionic is plugged in and is close to their router. I would also recommend to to make sure you'rare using the right type of Wi-Fi. It also might be a good idea to forget the network and setup Wi-Fi again. Why don't you give it a try?
If the issue persists, please try a factory reset by following these steps:
On your watch, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset.
PS: I moved your post to the Fitbit Ionic as there are more chances to get related replies here.
Once you've attempted it, try uploading your songs again and let me know the outcome!

Thank you for attempting to help me with my issue. Unfortunately, after trying everything you suggested, I am still having the exact same problem. To be specific, here are all the steps I took:
Nothing helped. The problem remains exactly as I described it in my first post. I am frustrated to the point of tears, if I may be honest. I only just got this Ionic yesterday, so having to reset it and go through that lengthy update process again today--especially since it didn't help at all and I must now go update all my settings and add/remove apps again--is simply infuriating.
Please let me know what steps I should take next. I appreciate your further assistance.

Hi, @TheActiveOtaku, while you are waiting to hear from Fitbit Customer Support I am tagging a few of the techiest people on the Community Council. I know that @Rich_Laue has played extensively with loading music on the Ionic, and @PureEvil and @Michael are Windows experts. One of them might have some thoughts.

Thank you both very much for your assistance! I hope someone out there is able to replicate this problem and therefore discover a solution. I'd really love if I could start listening to music from my Ionic by the time I start training for my first 10k next month

Sorry @Julia_G with not having a win based or MAC based PC I have not played with music storage at all.
I might try through a friend's PC, I would love to get some audio books onto the wrist .
I'm waiting to be able to load through the phone.
Now if someone could write an FTP server for the tracker, problem might be solved.

@Rich_Laue -- my mistake! I thought you had done some playing with this.
I would love to have audio books too! There is no reason why not... They are exactly the same sort of files -- the program doesn't know if you are listening to speech or music -- but they would presumably need to be chopped into chapters and then one would need to get them (or choose them) in the right order.
Hopefully someone else will be able to help @TheActiveOtaku!

Most audiobooks I listen to are chopped into 20-30 minute mps. Yes it would be possible, but through a phone still impossible .
It would be nice if the ionic kept track of the point listened to in the file, but that is a different subject.
If I could add a feed to the ionic or the versa, even through a pc .The tracker would update the feed durring a charging through WiFi .
That would be doable for me.
I'm dying to try this feature out, but not willing to add a win partition to do so .

@TheActiveOtaku did you ever find a solution to this problem? I am having the same issue. I transfer a playlist to the Ionic and it will only play the first song. All the other songs in the playlist are visible on the Ionic but will not play. Thanks!

Hello @StanleyABC have you contacted Fitbit support?
Asking the community of Fitbit users for support frfm Fitbit support might not be the best course of action.

I struggled with the same problem for my versa.
The easy solution is to upgrade your PC to windows 10. Download Fitbit app for winwows 10. Then just following the Fitbit instruction on how to transfer music. I also notice that a playlist has to be created first. I did that in iTunes, once Fitbit app connected to the watch, click media and then personal music in window 10 version Fitbit app, the app is able to see your iTunes playlist automatically. Hit sync it will transfer entire list instead of first song only.

Welcome to the forums @SunsetRunner, it's good to see you around.
Thank you for sharing your experience with this feature, I'm sure it will be useful to other users as well. I also found very useful to create a playlist before transferring the music.
Keep on stepping.
