So my Ionic died on me, even though it claimed to have a full charge. So I plugged it in and charged it again. This time it immediately turned off when I removed it from the power source. No amount of button pressing can rouse it. I plugged it back in and did a factory reset and I'm still having the same issue. If it's 'on charge' it works fine, the second I unplug it it turns off. Literally no issues with it before now

@Jimsdow Welcome to our Fitbit Community. I totally understand how you feel about your Fitbit Ionic since it turns off once you remove it from the charger.
Please try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. After trying these steps, charge your Ionic for 2-3 hours and see if it stays on after removing it from the charger.
Hope this helps.

I have the same problem as Jimsdow. After my Ionic went flat and would not charge I cleaned the contact points. That didn't work. After leaving the Fitbit plugged in for hours it finally came to life. It shows that it is charging but the charge level remains 0%. As soon as it is unplugged it dies.

Same but I've had mine a little over 2 years. The past couple of months I've had to charge it 2x a day. And have not been wearing to bed for the past 8 months. It seems the battery is just shot. I wish there was a way to replace the battery if it was temporary. I was hoping it would at least last me until September when new products are launched. I been using Fitbit products for over 5 years now, but I wish they would just last a bit longer.

Thanks for trying to help but, you don't seem to have heard what users are saying. Each of the options in the suggested article have been tried and the Ionic isn't responding. Just replying with the same suggestions doesn't help. Please offer some other practical solutions.
