Ionic won't turn on

So two days ago, I saw that my Fitbit Ionic's time was behind 1 hour from my phone. After over 12 attempts to sync and basic phone and Ionic restarts... I removed the ionic off the account, force quit the Fitbit app (Android Oneplus 7T), disabled bluetooth, uninstalled the fitbit app, restarted the phone, reinstalled Fitbit, restarted the Fitbit , performed a factory reset on the ionic. The Ionic now does not turn on. I've held the left and bottom button for less than 9 seconds, 10 seconds, 15 seconds, 20 seconds. I've now let it charge for over 5 hours.

I then came to the forums and began holding all three buttons for 10 seconds and 12 seconds.

I am getting no display on my watch. I need some support because after spending over an hour checking community boards, it seems like this is a huge problem with the recent firmware update. Something needs to be done outside of the copy and paste response I've been seeing from Mods over the past 12 hours. I've purchased too many products from this company to always find myself dealing with issues like this.

I've also tried connecting the Watch to a PC and it still won't turn on.

There seems to have been a lot of Ionic deaths in the past week or so, mine too has become 'bricked'.  I managed to get support through the Twitter feed but it may be worth trying https://help.fitbit.com/?cu=1&i=1

Good luck getting somewhere!  Unfortunately I could only get a discount voucher as I'm a little outside my warranty period ... annoying as the device was a warranty replacement and only 10 months old.

Yes mine died as well. I'm having an issue on my settings app (no response when pressed)so decided to do a factory reset. After following the procedure as described in the community forum, the ionic turned off and never turns on again no matter what you press and different button combination. Tried to put on the charger for more than 2 hours with no luck.

Let this be a warning to those thinking of doing a factory reset, think first before doing it.
