i have had my Ionic for approx 7 months and its always worked great. started yesterday, didnt track any steps, i did a reset and it starting rolling steps non-stop almost like it was working off memory so i paid no attention to it. My battery drained quick, charged and reset the watch seemed to be fine. This morning again it just started counting steps non stop and by 11:00 i had 10,000 steps and battery drained.
Restarted for the 3rd time and it started again just rolling steps, took off and once again now charging. I bought this over an Apple Watch for good reasons but this is pretty frustrating as i do step challanges with friends.

@slick1066 A warm welcome to the Community. Sorry for the delayed reply.
Thanks for the details mentioned and the troubleshooting tried prior to posting. I see where you're coming from.
It's pretty weird that your Ionic started showing many steps and then again you noticed that it did the same thing in the morning. I've shared your post with our Support team and they will continue assisting you. Due to recent events affecting our operations, we may need more than 7 business days to respond.
I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

Mine did the exact t same thing on Wednesday it said I had 23 miles it steps when I actually probably had 7 miles. I restarted it and now it won’t count any steps or do heart rate. I’ve tried several restarts, etc..
