My ionic is refusing to sync with my phone all of a sudden. I have tried all of the suggestions such as checking app and ionic are up to date, deleting and re-installing app, re-starting ionic, switching Bluetooth off and on, un-pairing ionic from my phone's Bluetooth connection etc. I am now trying to set the device back up on the app and it keeps saying it has found the ionic but won't connect to it..this is so frustrating!!! Please tell me somebody can help?? I have a Samsung galaxy s8 and I know it is compatible as I've had the ionic with the same phone for 3 months and it's always worked fine up until now

It should definitely work with that phone (I have the same one). Try unpairing all other bluetooth devices and turn off or move them out of bluetooth range and try again..

i have literally started getting this myself on exactly the same phone. i have done everything you have done and i finally got it re-connected last night, but this morning its stopped synching all over again.
hoping fitbit can take this and figure out whats happening

My galaxy s8 stopped syncing yesterday morning. Have tried everything and will no longer work.
