Hi all,
After some first hand help and advice please. I've just purchased an Ionic for my wife as an anniversary present. She has a Huawei P20 phone (not a P20 lite and not a P20 Pro).
The P20 Lite and P20 Pro are both listed as compatible devices for the Ionic but the P20 isn't on the list. Logic tells me that if the entry level model and top of the range models of the P20 both work fine then surely the mid-range P20 will also be fine?
Rather than assume this I just wanted to see if anyone here can confirm if the Ionic syncs with the P20 or confirm that I've made a mistake!
Thanks in advance for any help from a slightly concerned husband! 🙂

A warm welcome to the Community @TomBullen. I'll be happy to help you, It's so cute to hear that you got a Fitbit Ionic for your wife because it's your anniversary.
I appreciate the research that you did before posting in the forums. As you mentioned, the phones that are listed as compatible are Huawei P20 Lite and Huawei P20 Pro but the Huawei that your wife is using is different from those models.
Since, the Huawei P20 isn't listed there. This means that this hasn't been tested by our Fitbit team, I can confirm that they are always testing new mobile devices and adding them to the list but you need to keep an eye on this article and check when they add new ones.
There are some users that have been able to synchronize their watches with mobile devices that aren't in the list but I can't confirm that your watch will always sync with those because they haven't been added.
My recommendation will be to give it a try or if it doesn't work then you can always check our Fitbit Warranty.
Happy anniversary! Let me know if there's anything that I can help you with.
