Any update on this feature request? The answer to this request was that Fitbit is *considering* Spotify for the Ionic, while the Versa already has it.

The Spotify app is available for Ionic, please make sure you've downloaded it in the Fitbit App Gallery. Once you have it, follow this procedure to control music with your Fitbit Ionic.
