My Fitbit Ionic is completely dead

I was facing problems with my Ionic when it stopped counting steps and heartbeat. After going thought hundreds of community messages, I applied all possible solutions and ended up doing hard reset. To my surprise, yesterday night it started counting steps and heart beat.  But from today morning, it's completely dead. Ever after 6 hours of charging, it's not showing anything. Kindly guide me what to do.

My ionic just quit working. I plugged in to charge and nothing. It’s totally dead. Did all troubleshooting to no avail. When e mailed Fitbit they did troubleshoot with me, nothing! It is 13 months old so they will not honor the 1 Year warranty.
on to Apple! I’ll never purchase another Fitbit item again!

I just had the same problem, my ionic just quit working "While I was sleeping" so I woke up to a dead Fitbit Ionic. I plugged in to charge and nothing, I can't even try to troubleshoot it since there is no display, It’s totally dead! Did all troubleshooting I could in this condition.  My Ionic is less then a year old so where do I send it for a replacement?

Mine did the same thing about 2 days ago.  Won't charge, won't do anything.  Verified charger works with wife's Ionic.  Strange things are afoot with the ionic.

I had opened a case with FitBit support.

Let's see if I get any solution from them.

Hi Silvia,

Unfortunately, my Fitbit Ionic is also completely dead.  Which is a shame because I absolutely loved the device.  It died with no warning - it was working perfectly prior to its demise.  It showed 64% battery when I plugged it in to charge overnight, then the next morning it was non-responsive.  I researched ways to troubleshoot the issue here in the forums, but nothing worked.  I feel like I've exhausted every solution and nothing will wake it back up.

Please have someone on the Support team contact me.  I really want to get this device up and running again so that I can do the same (with statistics).  🙂

Thanks,

Brian
