My Ionic and floor counting

Ugh! My ionic always says I went up flights of stairs but I haven’t. So frustrating!  I’ve had this thing for over a year and no matter how many times I reboot it or call customer service I ALWAYS have the same problem. It never gets fixed.  It completely throws off my workout recordings.  I really wish I’d gotten rid of it when I had the chance. Upsetting because it had potential.

If you're getting floors tracked in error note that they won't be affecting your calorie data as they are not taken into account in the calculations.

 

Are you getting lots tracked? It should track a floor if you gain 10 feet in height while moving so you might get some from walking uphill as well as going upstairs and windy conditions or a weather front moving through can give the odd rogue floor.
