Hi
Is heart rate turned on? On the ionic go the settings, make sure heart rate is turned on.
When it's on, try set to off & turn off the tracker (in the settings tap 'about' -> 'shutdown').
After turning on, change the heart rate setting back to on.
Hope it helps

Since today i have the same problem, no HR reading. Tried turning it on/off and restarting the Fibit itself too but nothing seems to work..
Also today the HR reading showed wrong values compared to gym handbar readings.... And last night it didnt get my hr either..
This seriously makes me think of returning it.

Is there a continuous green light emitted from the bottom of the watch where hr is located?

Is it possible that you may be wearing it too loose? Sometimes if it's too loose, the tracker will move and get caught on a bone, which stops the HR reading. Sometimes that happens with my Alta HR.

Are the sensors on the back cleaned? A bit of water and soft paper tissue will do.

@Kmac86 Thanks for taking the time to complete a restart of the watch and also attempting to toggle the HR sensor to ON, Auto in an attempt to get it to track your heart rate reading. I've escalated your inquiry to our Support Team who will be getting in contact with you in the next 24-72 hours to provide you with some further steps to help get you back on track. Please let me know the outcome and keep me posted.

Thanks. I have spoken to Fitbit support who have been fantastic and they have ruled my Ionic as defective and will be organising replacement for me.

I'm having the exact same issue. 45 minute workout; average heart rate zero. This makes me angry. It's brand new.

I was having the same problem. Then it dawned on me to flip the watch over and what did I see but a dirty sensor. I wiped it clean and voila I'm not dead anymore. Lol
