My Ionic died during the night, and when I went to charge it this morning, nothing. Did not turn on, not reseting.....nothing. Has anyone else had a problem so far? Contacted FitBit support, was told to leave it on charge overnight and see what happens? Not a happy chap to say the least....
Had it for all of 48 hours....

Hopeless, I lost the receipt, and out of warranty, which they said cannot fix it because no receipt!!
Best AnswerPlus all the button for over a minute, still no respires, so long fitbit!!
Please change a new name to market your stuff!!
Best AnswerI am having all of the same problems! I didn’t notice my Fitbit was on low battery before I went to bed so I unexpectedly woke up this morning to it dead, it wouldn’t turn on or anything so I went to the app and that’s how I figured it was dead. I have tried the two button fix and basically tried every outlet in my house. I tried the 3 button fix and no luck yet but I will of course continue to try and hopefully something happens! I had only just received this watch for Christmas! If I reset my Fitbit will I still be able to re-sync all my information once my Fitbit is back on if it works??

Try letting it fully charge overnight on a outlet and not computer.
I hope that works!

I am having the same issue as above, i was going to get ready for bed and noticed that my watch was dead. I know i checked it a couple hours prior and it was about halfway charged. I put it on the charger, when i got up this morning my watch was still dead, no battery at all. I tried another charger for 2 hours and nothing. This is the second Ionic that i have bought with like issues. I have tried the reset and that does not work.
Best Answer2nd Ionic?!? Hope that they replaced a new one to you, not purchasing with a 30% discount!!
I purchased a Galaxy watch already!! A lot better!!
Funny thing was, when I bought the new watch. All the customer service found it strange that I need the receipt to get the watch fix, and even if I pay for the service, not allow me to fix the watch. Other thing, I scanned through the shop, Ionic seems disappeared at the display! Whole display window only left out Ionic, while other fitbit models, even older models were still there. Seems that's a major hardware failure, and not selling anymore!!
Best AnswerI had the same problem and that worked for me also.
Best Answerwell woke up had my fitbit on the charger and it was dead switched to the usb charging port on my UPS backup and still nothing checked voltage on cable checked ok spring action on pins seemed ok, switched to my computers 3.2 port still nothing
then I came here before calling fitbit and whola your tip worked not at first though I flopped the plug around and bingo it came on and after a few sec with the fitbit logo it shut off I then pushed the left button and boom it was showing 99% charge so there is still somthing going on I hope they get this fixed
thanks for the tip
Best AnswerWow...thank you! I had the same issue and I thought my Ionic was dead. I tried your trick and like you said....it magically came to life. 🙂

Best AnswerHad the problem that my Fitbit Ionic would not turn on even after charging it for a week and trying every button combination possible. Somebody mentioned a fix and it was to hold down the left and bottom right button and insert it into the power supply. While that didn't exactly work, I tried taking the holding down the same buttons and taking the charger in and out of my power supply (about 5 times) until it magically turned on.
Best AnswerNo, I not working for me😢:hammer_and_pick:️
Regards
Best AnswerI tried everything.. Hard reset with all 3 buttons as suggested on fitbit site, but I now all I see is a watch that says... In red with a big red :cross_mark_button: and data not cleared, sync & try again. But it will not sync... So I am stuck. From South Africa, no help Centre here. Watch just over 2 years old.
Best AnswerReally simple to fix in 4 steps.
1. Do not panic.
2. Plug onto charger at back of Fitbit but leave charger turned OFF at the power point.
3. Leave like this overnight.
4. Flick power on in the morning. Fixed.
