Hi Frank
Clocks
My Fitbit clock faces work... very slow.
other clock faces is no go, and demands reboot restart reload of everything to go back
Apps:
I can see apps, but I cannot install them, the red bar just run left to right as it is thinking, nothing happens.
So I agree, it is not all functional yes...
Speeeeeed UP Fitbit
Best AnswerMine started working again for a bit and has now stopped working reviving notifications etc. What is going on???
Best AnswerIs this still ongoing as mine started working and now its not again. i can access the apps and clock faces however I am now not receiving any notifications. I have done everything FitBit has said to do and still nothing. I am very annoyed at this along with numerous other customers. I am contemplating sending it back for a refund and changing to the Apple watch!
Mine actually started working last night. Crashed a few times but know it's all good so I'm sure yours will be working soon, too - hang in there 🙂
Best AnswerHi. I had a chat with Fitbit Support this morning, and they confirmed that it is not the watch, but their Fitbit system is the issue. If you go to this link, http://help.fitbit.com/ the issue is mentioned at the top of the page. Fitbit are looking into the issue, but there is no resolution timescales yet. If you want to chat or contact support go to link http://help.fitbit.com/?cu=1.
Best AnswerThe issue has been fixed. Once the App Gallery issue was addressed, I went into the FitBit app on my phone and was able to reload the clock app I was using.
Best I can tell, after an OS update the Ionic reloads apps - including the style of clock you've chosen - from the App Gallery online. Since the online App Gallery was down yesterday, the watch ended up in a completely unusable state.
Per other comments I've seen in these forums, I think FitBit needs to revisit how apps are handled by the Ionic to at least allow some minimal functionality in "App Gallery offline/broken" scenarios. I shouldn't end up with a completely useless watch just because the clock app can't be loaded from the 'net.
Anyway, glad it's fixed.
Best AnswerI just started to read this thread. My wife had all sorts of problems with syncing and finally sent it back for a replacement which is due here Friday. She went to another brand and gave the Ionic to me.
Many people here wrote they had problems since they upgraded. In case my replacement has an older firmware is there a way to turn down the upgrade when I set up the Ionic?
Best AnswerDespite the warning on the top of the page, everything seems to be working again for me.
Best Answerhas anyone had issues with it not tracking steps or heart rate not coming on also?
Best Answerallan473: its not tracking on my watch, it syncs to the app fine.
Best AnswerI never heard of that one before. You mean if you take 500 steps the 500 show up on your app but not your watch? I would think that is something that might require a replacement.
