Fitbit Update 04/18/2018: Hey everyone -- Our team has resolved this issue, which means you should be able to sync your sleep logs from last night and the app will display your actual hours slept as opposed to 0 time asleep.

Thanks for your patience as we worked to the get this resolved as quickly as possible. I will be closing this thread as the issue is resolved.

Fitbit Update 04/17/2018: We're aware of an issue where users who logged sleep may see their time asleep as 0 minutes.

We're working on getting this resolved as quickly as possible. In the meantime, we have a workaround:

Workaround:

  • Manually edit your sleep log (hit the "edit" button at the top right of the app and change your start OR end time by 1 minute.
  • Save the change
  • This will recalculate your sleep and should resolve the issue.

I will have more information for you once this has been fully resolved. Thanks for your reports and continued patience as we work on a fix.

Same here.    I know they are working on it - hopefully they will also fix the issue with app showing phone in  DND, when in fact it is no turned on.  (They must have some good developers at fitbit!  ha, ha)

Same issue on my Ionic today. Editing the start time solved the issue for me.

Editing the sleep time also worked for me. If you, despite everyone else’s clear directions, can’t figure it out, here are mine, on my iPhone 6s app. From the dashboard, touch the sleep tile. The touch the day, then touch the three dots in the upper right hand corner. Edit your sleep by one minute each way (adding a total of 2 minutes). Mine recalculated to include my analysis.

I've been using my Ionic 4 months and the sleep monitoring has been mostly working but today it shows 0 hours sleep, despite the fact it shows sleep stages. I've removed the app from my phone and computer and put them back, and rebooted the Ionic, still 0 hours sleep. This is making me want to take a nap. What can I do?

I have the opposite problem, which started yesterday. My sleep registers as it did on my old Charge HR but all the details like REM etc. are not there. I bought my Ionic 11 days ago!!!

Have you tried going into your app and tap on  sleep and then today and just hit the edit button.  This happened to me this morning and that is all I did.     They are aware of the issue should be a banner in hot pink stating information about the issue.

Thanks. I saw that banner after I posted my problem. All fixed now.

If you click on the sleep icon and then where it says 0, tap that, up at the top right is a icon that when you tap it gives you a choice to edit sleep. I just move my sleep start up 1 minute and it recalculated.
