Replying to texts.

No, it is not possible to reply to text messages on the Ionic.

Not yet. Remember that another update to enable quick replies for Android is "coming soon" to Fitbit OS (both for Ionic and Versa).

You should essentially be able to do something like, checking the notification for the message and select between a few predetermined options to quickly reply to that message.

Since you're able to change the default "messages" app for notifications, you may be able to do that with third party apps such as Facebook's messenger or Whatsapp. But we'll have to see.

It has arrived in the latest firmware update that is slowly rolling out.

It is currently only available for users paired to an Android phone.

Mine rolled over too, but now I'm not getting ANY text message notifications coming through. I get everything for every other app but that one.

Anyone run into this same issue and have a solution?

I just updated my Ionic however I do not receive text messages and I can not text to a missed call. I do get emails and I receive phone calls. Any body have a suggestion as to why? My Ionic is set to receive messages on my phone and my Fitbit.

It has actually been working on my ionic...updated yesterday...took a long
time to get the update tho

My Fitbit was updated. I'm able to get calls and email but not text message or able to reply to phone calls. I'm only able to use partial notifications.

I have no idea how to reply to phone calls? The text function is
working....maybe check to make sure your notification is on for text
messages in the Fitbit app?

Yes Ionic is set "on" in the settings and my phone is set for Messages. I restarted my phone and Ionic now when someone calls it doesn't vibrate to let me know someone is calling. It shows I missed a call but I can not reply to the caller via text.

That is weird. Usually turning my phone off and on does the trick. Maybe
turn off and on your ionic?
