Shut off setting on the watch

Hi MattFitbit, could you help please.

Since the latest update, the ability to turn off the ionic in settings has now become bugged, many ionic users have written in these forums with no help.

Pre update :-   settings - about - shutdown, shut off the watch and a single press of any button powered the watch back up. shut down in this way the watch could be left in excess of 3 weeks without the battery going flat.

Post update :-  shutting down in the same way as pre update, but now you have to do a full reset to get the watch powered on, if youre lucky the watch will power on, some however have experienced a complete failure. If you leave the watch switched off overnight the battery will go from 100% to 0%.

This change of functionality is undesireable and my question is simple, MattFitbit, are you able please to find out if this function is going to be restored in a future update, can you please ask the question of fitbit.

I dont need links to how to charge my watch or how to clean the contacts etc, just an honest reply from someone at fitbit as to wether this useful function is going to be restored and if there is a timescale.

thank you in advance.

The battery is draining quickly Due to upgrade Firmware. ( See Pic) A charge use to last me a week. Now only a day. 01/08/2020 around 0700 hours i charge the ionic to 100%, turn it off. Around 0500 hours i turn it back on by pressing all three buttons for 10 seconds. Battery was at 71%.. This never use to happen. how does a device lose 30% of it power in Shut Down Mode

I have the same issue with ionic. Chargerd it Monday, powered it off and this morning was at 0% battery. Is this a bug?
