Skype incoming calls not notified.

Just so you get an answer, and to show you’re not being ignored, sorry but this is not something I can help with immediately as I rarely use Skype. It does seem strange however that you can get all Skype notifications except incoming calls. Is this video and/or voice calls?

Out of interest, though you might not use it, have you tried to see whether you get notified of incoming WhatsApp calls?

Both video and voice calls, messages work fine.

WhatsApp is on my list to test as well, I can receive messages for that, but haven't had any incoming calls so far to confirm one way or the other.

Actually, no I won’t, because I’ve just sent my Ionic back to Fitbit, due to the “light emitting gap” issue. It’ll have to wait till they send me a replacement (or someone else manages).

As with other Fitbit devices I’ve only heard of support for “phone” calls so I would be surprised if it supported these other notifications. I’m not in a position to try anything at the moment though.

Fitbit shows notifications for most apps Inc Skype and WhatsApp. It's just incoming calls that's having an issue (Skype confirmed not WhatsApp).

Would like confirmation though rather than speculation.

You should probably be taking to Fitbit directly via support then. You might get lucky if a moderator who happens to know the answer happens to see this but it’s by no means guaranteed.

Well WhatsApp does notify me of an incoming call via vibrate on the Ionic. Skype does not even though all notifications are turned on within Ionic and Skype for Android itself. All other notifications work (ie text messages).

So specifically all I would like to hear is if people are getting vibrations on their watch when somebody rings them via Skype or not (just when somebody rings them, messaging works). Surely there must be somebody in this forum who could confirm?
