Sleep Tracking Accuracy

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I woke up noticing the sleep start time was way off by at least 30 minutes and I was moving throughout that period so there wouldn’t have been any indication for the watch to start at that time. I went to edit the sleep log and select the right time and it’s as if the sleep log exploaded. Everything was inaccurate so I ended up deleting it. It’s a shame I can’t go back to the original (undo feature) because I would much rather have the semi accurate for most of the night then a false “add” sleep log that isn’t accurate.

@Jwoll Welcome to the Fitbit family! If you know your exact bedtime and wake up times you could add that sleep log manually to have it there and accurate for that night.

I also recommend checking the sleep settings and try them both to see which one will show the most accurate data for you, as your sleep is unique and you might have to change those settings.

Also, try setting up a sleep schedule to help you meet your sleep goal and maintain a more consistent pattern of sleep.

How was your sleep tracked last night? Did it showed accurate now?

Please vote for this feature suggestion which is asking for an "Undo Button". I think you might fin that interesting!

Thank you! I've had the various fitbit products over the years and I feel this version your company really nailed it. I love it. I realize I have to take things with a grain of salt because it's not going to be entirely accurate. I ended up refreshing the sync and it seems to have gotten it back on track. I'll try adjusting the sleep settings as well. Thanks for your reply and assistance, take care!
