I just got my Ionic this week. For the last two days my ionic shutdown at the gym while on a precor elliptical after about 10-15 minutes. I'm listening to music. Exercise app is not in use.
Suddenly music stops, see the diamond - and then it shuts down.
It is a pain to have to restart - pair the headphones - and get back to selecting music.
Then it runs ok until I'm cooked - 45 minutes yesterday - 15 today.
(Also the recording of the exercise is wrong.)
Is the unit defective - or am I the problem?
Thanks
steve

Thanks for reporting the situation you are experiencing with your Ionic restarting randomly. Thanks for providing all of those details regarding the specific scenarios when it is happening.
This is not a normal behavior of the Fitbit Ionic. Please try restarting your watch manually by following the instructions on this article. You can also change the clock face on your watch. This has helped other users in the past having similar issues on the display on the Ionic.
I'm not sure if the issues with the music, headphones and runs are related. But let's try a couple of steps for each one of them.
