Starting Music After Run Starts

Is there a way to start music on the Ionic AFTER a run or walk has been started?  The only way I have been able to do this is to stop the exercise, like my headset, then re-start the exercise.  I wish I could link my headset without having to stop my exercise.

Yes.  Long press the upper button to bring up the music player during a workout.

That only works if ear buds are already paired.

I use auto track for walks, which allows using any of the music functions. Not sure how much I'd trust it for runs, but it works fine for walks for me.

Work out...eat... sleep...repeat!
