Hello,
I am looking for help to solve an issue I am having with my ionic. While swimming with my ionic while in swim mode, it will not calculate laps or any data. All it is capable of doing is working like a stopwatch. I have become quite dependant on it for counting laps and checking on my speed. When I sync it to my phone and open the app the info that I get is missing or if there at all it is extremely inaccurate to the point of being humorous. I have done a hard reset with my ionic, turned my phone on/off and reached out to customer service who have never called back.

@SunsetRunner A warm welcome to the Community. Thanks for the troubleshooting tried prior to posting.
I appreciate the details mentioned. I would like you to confirm that you have entered your pool length to track your distance and duration. You could find instructions on this article.
If you're still experiencing difficulties, please attach a screenshot of the info that's syncing to your app.
Looking forward to hearing back from you.

I go swimming every other day for about 30 minutes, often in saltwater pool. and no problems in 15 months other than wristband fell apart. Not very good on drying it after shower either.

The photo shows the information I receive about my swim session when I sync my ionic to the fitbit app. The other bit of info I get is energy expenditures, it is displayed on a seperate page as mostly flat line except for the very end of the session shows some fluctuation. It states 38cal. and 0.7 cal/min. Normal for me would be around 250 cals. I actually swam for 47 min., I swam over 1 mile. The displayed info is of no use. Plus as mentioned before, it the watch screen only works as a stopwatch while in swim mode.
