My Ionic refuses to auto recognise my swims, as swimming that is. Last week it has recorded my swimming as we elliptical work outs..
I use breast strokes.

Hi @kwaasen ,
There's something in the stroke that the fitbit is mistakening for an elliptical arm motion. You can disable elliptical, and it should pick swimming back up. Just go into the device settings for your tracker, under auto-recognition, and turn elliptical to "ignore" and that's it.

You could always use the manual multisport mode referred to as swimming.
BTW disabling any auto exercises the user does not do will speed up the screen response and increase battery life.
