From the disaster at the attempt to have an update from Fitbit and the nightmares read, I don't think I will update.  My Fitbit works fine and the update isn't much anyway.  I'll be interested to hear how others faired with the new update

I never had problems due to update process ( but it doesn't mean others don't ). Didn't brick my device etc. Any improvements? I see none. "Today" app finally kicked in with more slots but I don't find myself using them at all ( I don't log water, weight is logged automatically from Renpho scale etc. ). I am more interested in critical bug fixes but apparently there is no any information whether anything has been fixed at all ( I would expect lot more release details for major release ). In my case nothing broken, nothing improved. Not sure if my resting HR which after update went down is related to update or fact I started wearing device on my right wrist.

Thank you for the feedback. I don't see any reason to updare. There's no big improvements, nothing is really being added, or any critical fixes.  I read plenty with the last update firmware, where it bricked many ionics and the hurdles to jump just to get their Fitbit working at 80 percent.  I'd really like to hear from others who have currently updated the new firmware.  Thank you-
