After performing the firmware update in Dec 70414 I still am not getting text notifications to the Ionic. What I do get is a message stating I have a text message and options to either read, reply, open, clear. When I Touch h read the whole text disappears, or even try to reply. This started with the previous firmware update. In taking with tech support then, the answer was wait for the latest firmware, 70414 and that should take care of it. Still nothing as it did the same with the previous firmware update. Before that it worked flawlessly. If a text was sent it should the persons name sending followed by the text itself.
Now its sending message and when you push to read which was never there before it totally disappear like its been removed before reading.....Cell phone notifications work great as before the two firmware updates, It alerts to an incoming call and whom it is from my contacts on the phone...just like the text alert USED to do.
The watch is less than a year old and if it can not do any of this I would rather return same..
Thoughts here

@dangerwrobinson Thank you for getting back. It's pretty weird that you're not seeing this on your app.
I just tried to look for this on my phone, I noticed I had to do one more step to get to this:
Open your "Messages" app on your Android device.
Go to "Settings."
Click on "Notifications."
Make sure there is a checkmark next to "Preview Message"
I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
