I have this message. Gone into app device settings and there is no area to reset pin as community says. All it does is set a pin on my phone screen.
Tried delete and reset but I know can't add the ionic as it asks for pairing number shown on screen and all screen shows is 'unlock with phone'!
I appear stuck now. Tried restart etc no difference. Help thanks

This is going to be a problem. If you input the wrong PIN on the fitbit 10 times it locks it and you can only reset from the app that it's connected to. Now that you have removed that connection you will not be able to reset it.
To get round this you could try the factory reset process documented by one of the moderators in this thread: Solved: Re: My Versa is locked and not able to connect to ... - Fitbit Community
If that doesn't work then it's best to contact customer support via contact.fitbit.com

That's strange. Can I just check that you were following the instructions documented in https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2250/
Best AnswerOk will try factory reset there was no setting in the app though to reset pin.
Tried reset and nothing changed. Will try Fitbit.
