Visibility in bright light

During running, compared to the Charge 2, how visible is the Ionic display in bright light? I have the Charge 2, but can hardly see the display outside in the sun. Is it worth it to upgrade to the Ionic, or should I investigate other makes of trackers?

Display is one of best things Ionic has to offer. Never had any problem with the visibility in the bright sun light ( until display broke ).

I've never had an issue seeing the display, and I run in full sunlight often.
