I have an issue where synced workouts that weights have distance attached to them.
App version: Latest as of 19/12 on Android 2.63 2193223
Phone: Galaxy S8+
Firmware: 27.31.1.16
Reproduce steps:
Synced Workouts
Basically, I would like to suggest FB FIX the software//firmware for the Ionic and Versa so that when the Weights workout is logged, it shows calories rather than pace, since pace is useless in a weights workout. It's a bug in both the Ionic and Versa (Weights works correctly for Charge 2) and FB should fix it. I really like the Ionic, but the way it reports my daily Weights workout to the App is frustrating. Please fix it.
All suggestions made through the forums do not work.
It's a code/software/firmware issue, or maybe a hardware issue in ALL Ionic and Versa devices.
Best AnswerThis was back in March and they still haven't fixed it? That kind of bug fix shouldn't require much coding. They could have it sorted in a day if they prioritised it.

Best AnswerIf those steps you recommend would’ve worked there wouldn’t be so many complaints about this. But good to hear Fitbit is working on it.
I’m actually wondering why this is so extremely difficult to fix that it takes more than a year to solve this (because Ionic also seems to have this same problem). My Charge 2 never had this problem and I even checked yesterday to know the Charge 2 still doesn’t have this problem. Please understand that showing a correct workout is really important for Fitbit users. If I want to save the picture of my heart rate is ALSO says pace and distance 😞 I’m seriously fed up about this and thinking about using my Charge again. Also there are so many people that already got their Versa replaced so people get more and more disappointed in Fitbit. Not fixing bugs that should be
easy to fix (because other watches don’t have this problem) gives us the idea that customers aren’t important. Fitbit probably thinks that they shouldn’t do their best anymore because they’re the number one fitness tracker. But surprise: That can change very easily if more and more people complain.

So can you give people a timeline for this? It's already been half a year... It's a simple bug fix... What exactly is taking so long? Fixing this kind of bugs in existing products should be high up in your priority list if you want to retain costumers...
That moment you desperately hope the new firmware update fixes this problem, but it f*cks up your watch even more.....😫
Best AnswerSo I just purchased the Charge 3 (coming from a Charge 2) and has this bug - how hard can this be to fix??? Amazing it would take this long to fix!

Thank you for your patience!
Best AnswerThis is extremely frustrating - happening in workout mode on the Versa. We paid way too much money for a smart watch that clearly isn’t so so smart. Please fix this...

Best AnswerAny updates? I've reported this issue back in January when I purchased this watch. This is seriously annoying and I think we have waited more than a reasonable time for a fix. The message I am receiving is "suck it up, we don't care about you". Christmas and Black Friday are around the corner and if this issues in not fixed I will be looking into switching to a different brand.
Tried those steps, does not fix 😩
Best AnswerSame here
too many issues
Best AnswerHahahaha! And the Fitbit Instagram account just promotes the weights exercise function😂 still no shame there after almost a year😂
Best AnswerSame here. iOS and Charge 3. My Charge 2 was displaying time and calories correctly. Charge 3 “upgrade” is now causing these worthless stats for my lifting sessions. Very dissatisfied!!!
