I just bought a brand new Inspire to replace my old One that no longer works. After setting it up, I realize that it is now garbage because it cannot be used on the same account as my Ionic.
I do NOT want to reinstall my ionic every time I go for a run and reinstall the Inspire every time I want to use it for normal use.
Now that I have to throw away my new Inspire, how do I find a device that I can use in my pocket that will also be compatible with the Ionic?
Many thanks

Hi, @Clannum and welcome to the forums. Why do you want to use two different trackers? I have an Ionic and use it all the time - sleep, runs, general all day activity. Don't see the point of one tracker for general use and one for runs?

Hi Mark...very valid question.
The Ionic is large and has to be worn on the wrist. That's fine if I am out for a run, but it is not something I would ever wear on a casual basis. For those times, I use a fitbit tracker that I can put in my pocket unobtrusively. I do not ever wear a tracker on my wrist on a day-to-day basis. Since the "inspire" seems to be the only unit currently being sold that can be used in the pocket, I replaced my old "one" with that. But, as noted, although the "one" and the "ionic" can be used interchangeably, the "inspire" and the "ionic" cannot.
Does that help?

That's a very good point actually. The Ionic is a bit big and 'clunky' and is very obviously a tracker. The problem is detailed here multiple Fitbits on one account and is because they both use the app gallery. One other option could be to use mobiletrack on your phone although this probably isn't as accurate as a dedicated tracker. Sorry can't help you further.

Thank you Mark.
The real question I am looking for is what tracker CAN be used with ionic (ie does not us the "App Gallery," whatever that is), AND can be worn in the pocket?
Clearly the "Inspire" fails that test...but I am looking for what might qualify?
Thank you.

Well I guess the only options then would be the Charge 2, Alta, Flex etc. though these are a older models now.
