It's all working now. I was about to ditch the fitbit and get another smart watch as its getting rediculous. Every three months it just stops working for no reason!
Yeah! The new update has fixed the issue! Updating the app, synchronizing, setting up notification settings as desired, synchronize again and there they are, whatsapp notifications on my watch!
