I just got an Ionic and trying to get the gps to work. I connect the gps and do an exercise, but it does not show a map of the course on my I phone 8. I would think it would pop up automatically in my dashboard. What do I need to do to get this to happen. The manual on line does not discuss this at all.

Hello @johnjill and Welcome to the Fitbit Ionic Forums. First, go into the exercise app, swipe to the "Run" exercise. Next, there is a gear on the top left corner, select it and it will bring you to the settings menu. scroll down to "GPS" and select it. It should be on the "On" option. To exit out of the menu, click the Back/Menu/Left Button. Then select the "Run" exercise. It should show an GPS antenna connecting on the Menu. Wait for it to connect, and begin. When you are done, finish the workout and once you sync, it will show up in the Exercise tile in the Fitbit app only.

I hope this long and informative guide was helpful!

If you don't have the tile, then press the edit on the bottom of the screen and add it.
