ionic and headphones

I am ready to ditch this ionic - every time I go to use my bose sound sports with it, the music only plays in the right headphone. I know it is not the head phones as I can get both working with my iPhone. Then I have to reboot the ionic and try several times to get it to play, sometimes with success sometimes without - it negates the purpose of having music on the ionic if you can't hear it properly. Does anyone have any advice? Again have rebooted unpaired and paired again, not the headphones .. as they work with other devices.

@gryphgal, this may be an incompatibility issue with your headphones. Do you know what version of Bluetooth the headphones have?  I use both the Fitbit Flyer and the Skullcandy Grind Bluetooth headphones with the Ionic, and neither have a problem with sound on both sides.
