ionic music transfer

my Ionic is connected to my wifi router and syncs with my wifi phone ok.

my pc connects to the same router via LAN. should they connect or do I need to buy a usb lan dongle specific to put them on the same wifi?

Hi @Markyboy307 I just tried this out for you. Had my laptop connected by Ethernet cable to my  router, and my Ionic on my wireless network (which is actually on a subnet from my router) and the music transfer process initiated ok. I didn’t actually transfer anything but everything connected and I could see my playlist and music that was on my Ionic. So you should be ok without needing to buy the dongle.

Hi @Markyboy307 I just tried this out for you. Many Thanks, didnt try today as needed to organise a screen repair on my phone too. It never rains it pours..

Will give it a go monday evening cheers. Sounds like it should work just need to set it up right.
