ionic not counting steps and no pulse rate

yesterday my ionic stopped counting my steps . I was out shopping for over an hour and it was lucky to show 100 steps . I would have estimated 2500 plus after walking 2 floors of the shopping centre. It has also stopped showing pulse rate. no lights on the back. It has been fully charged and restarted several times. seriously disappointed. have had several different model fitbits over the years,  Possibly time for a change.

Today, my Ionic has stopped syncing steps and calories. It syncs all other stats  The Ionic shows the stats in the device but won't sync them and I can't figure out how to get those two stats to sync....
