manually adding steps to activity log not showing up on ionic

Hi - I couldn't find a quick answer on the forum, but:

Anyone have a solution to the Ionic watch itself not reflecting manually inputted

steps via the LOG on the Fitbit Dashboard?

-I manually entered 1000 steps since my fitbit had died for about 2 hours.

-While it was charging, I entered this info and saved a step log.

-Restarted and re synced the ionic

-manually logged steps still not showing up.

got ideas to make this data show up on my watch face?

thank you!

I do not believe that "manually" added steps will appears in your steps.  If that occurred, the "challenges" would be mute, as I would be able to just add anything i wanted.

Normally manually added steps are entered by time and distance. Then Fitbit looks at the stride to determine the step count.

These steps should be added to the dashboard. then durring the next sync the steps are transferred to the Ionic.

I just tried and this worked for me.

Make sure that the steps where added to the dashboard, and force a sync.

I then removed my addiction and synced the tracker, the steps where removed from the dashbiarddand the ionic.
