Is anyone else struggling with luxe since the latest update ? I don’t get a warning anymore my luxe is low in charge and I can’t get a full charge it seems to take forever now and runs out of charge extremely quick - it’s quite frustrating?

Bull**ahem**

I charged mine for 24 hours when i got it brand new.

It won't keep a charge for more than a day and half.

PLUS...it jumped ahead 2 days and I can't get it back.

Don,

I too could never understand that issue….The watch is saying “Low Battery” and the phone app is saying medium to high battery.  By the time I would plug my phone in to charge mid-day I got “Low battery” 🪫 on phone & Dead Battery 🪫 on Luxe.  Once that email came for an UPDATE everything went downhill from there.  As for the migration from Fitbit to Google I don’t think 🤔 that has anything to do with it they were sending out reminders that eventually everything was going to be moved to google a few months back.

Something is definitely wrong with the Luxe after the firmware update and I am sure it is also tied to why the watch dies randomly upon the vibrate feature.

Others have experienced this as well. I have tried everything under the sun.

I’m also having this issue with my Luxe for months and it’s so frustrating - it will stop working suddenly but when I plug it in it says I have 50%+ charge (even though it won’t stay on if unplugged).  It also no longer syncs real time with the app no matter how many times I restart it. I’ve started looking into Fitbit alternatives, has the battery issue been raised to anyone?

I believe that everyone who has commented has contacted FitBit Support and has received no resolve.

Yes, that does seem to be the case.

Bob--I implied the possibility of class action in an earlier post, and the Fitbit moderator removed my post and said they wouldn't post any references to legal issues. Wonder how your post got through? Note: we are dealing with Google now, not Fitbit, so we are probably small fish to Google--unless we make a big splash. Need a workaround from using this community to communicate though. Ideas?

You are correct! They removed my comment as well

Yes, my fitbit is acting exactly the same way! No matter what the technical guys from CS are saying it IS after the last update! Maybe there's a way to go back to the previous software & ignore the update ?? 🤔  Greets, Magda

I have been having the same problem. My fit bit seems to stop displaying anything when there is 66% charge left on it.

I am having the same issue and seeing all the same issue being encountered and fitbit not seeing the correlation and likely causation seals my plan to move on from the product. I dont have money to keep buying items and replacing them annually. remember the days when a thing lasted decades!!!

After my initial post, my luxe continues to quit unexpectedly even if significantly charged and now will lag in time after I remove it from the charger. I just wanted it to keep track of my steps and tell time. It is failing on both parts now. I have to give up and get something else, even if it is just a Timex watch. They have always been reliable.

My comment about taking action against Fitbit/Google was also removed. Am I missing something? Has Fitbit/Google address this issue with their product at all? Is there another thread out there?

Best Answer

All of the comments regarding taking action are ultimately removed from the forum.  They will send you an email to let you know it’s against the guidelines, so you’re not missing anything.  I have not been addressed by anyone regarding this issue and my FitBit has been DEAD 💀 for at least two months or more now (I lost count).  🤷🏽‍:female_sign:

Yep. Not “allowed” to oust such criticism on the community. Nope—my Luxe is dead. Google sucks imho.
