I went for walks both yesterday and today which my Luxe appeared to accurately count my steps, however when I went to sync with the Fitbit app, the step counts were reduced by roughly 4,000 steps each day. Why is this happening?

Hi there, @Kathyo399. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Luxe.
Is this the first time your Luxe get rid of your data? If so, please note we are not sure what might have caused this, but we would expect this to be one glitch and I would ask you to keep an eye on your Luxe. In case this happens again, please let me know and I will be glad to further investigate.
However, if this is not indeed the first time, bear in mind that whether your Fitbit account is connected to a third party app or if you have manually logged an activity on your Fitbit account, please make sure the information in both cases doesn't match the time you were wearing your Fitbit device otherwise it could overwrite your data.
If necessary, you can manually add steps to your Fitbit account by going to the online Dashboard at fitbit.com > Log > Activities and scroll down to the bottom. Activities like walking, running and hiking allow you to choose steps instead of distance as shown in the screen shot below.
