Luxe is counting steps while not walking

I aonly have my luxe for one week. I have been sick on bed rest. My luxe counts almost 4000 steps for the day? Can I do something to correct that?

Hi @Mardalou, welcome to the community. 

Thanks for the explanation of the issue you are facing. 

Please take in mind that in some cases, the device could count steps due to a wrong usage. You could be taking extra steps if you are wearing the device too loosely. Please try to wear the device two fingers above the wrist bone and tight enough to avoid false movements. 

Also, restarting the watch is a common way to fix accuracy problems. How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Thank you for you response but if I am in my bed and the device is counting steps and fitbit doesn't have a proper way to fix it, wearing it loose  or tight is not going to fix it. Thank you.  But I am returning it.
