Hi there, @Cilla01. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Luxe is still turning off. I will do my best to help you with this!
If you haven't done so yet, please try the steps below:
If the above doesn't work, please restart your Fitbit device once again as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? Note: Restarting the device doesn’t delete any data. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Hi @MarreFitbit Unfortunately no luck… 15 min later from full battery to just syncing and not even turning on from my wrist either. Tad frustrating
Best AnswerHi I did all of this, cleared data, changed the watch face, and yet my Fitbit Luxe is continuing to ‘buzz’ and go off, I plug it in, 95% battery. Put it on, goes off. The annoying thing is all my stats are now affected. Why are we not getting help with this?
I’m having the same issue where my Luxe receives a notification, buzzes several times, then turns off, even though it has plenty of charge. There are Fitbit community forums about this issue back to at least August of 2023, and it doesn’t look like they’ve solved the problem. This is very obviously a software or firmware bug which either hasn’t been solved or that was reintroduced when faulty code was pulled from the software repository. None of the recommendations to restart, change the watch face, or other user actions are going to work. Google must fix the software/firmware for this device. If they don’t fix it, they will lose many good customers.
Hi, this really only works (at most) for a day, then bang! right back to it buzzing, going off, plugging in, charging, resetting, changing clock faces... and round the loop we go.
I’ve just tried this and so far it’s worked:
Restarting the Luxe using the charging cable (Your data won't be deleted.)
Best AnswerI am experiencing all of these issues- Luxe does not turn on or log my sleep. Something is working because my steps are being counted - orbits that my phone doing that? BUILT IN OBSOLESCENCE! 2 years and it shuts off. No cure. It’s just a pretty bracelet on my wrist (I stupidly spent $ on a lovely mesh band) that does not display any metrics. I’ll be going back to one of the many analogue watches that I abandoned for this “advanced” fitness tracker.
I don't think you answered the question. The problem is that the luxe turns itself off at random times even when fully charged so when synced later, data is missing.
I have had all the problems described in this thread over the past week and none of the suggested solutions work for very long. This morning all my sleep data has disappeared. I’ve been using a Fitbit tracker for quite a few years but am ready to ditch it- clearly Google isn’t interested in the problems users are having.
I've tried all of this and none of it works! My Fitbit Luxe will randomly go black and I'll need to plug it in to the charger and then sync it again with my phone but this takes time and there's so much data that isn't tracked because of this. I'm about ready to ditch Fitbit and Google all together because this is infuriating!
Best AnswerUnfortunately this trick only last for 36 hrs max. Usually only until my next activity is logging then it turns off as soon as my heart rate rises into vigorous! Fitbit’s best suggestion is 30% off a new device but I’m ditching Fitbit for good, it’s far too frustrating.
