Luxe won't sync properly after the Fitbit app update

Since the app on iPhone was updated I have to sync twice to get detailed data such as sleep, exercise, steps per hour etc. and second sync can be quick slow.
Malala Fitbit app interface isn’t as good as before. Too much white space and scrolling to see data.

Hi there, @Nancyabela. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear about the syncing difficulties you've been having after the Fitbit update. I understand how you must be feeling.

Please keep in mind that your sleep data might take a couple of minutes to show up on both your Fitbit device and Fitbit app. From personal experience, I've always synced twice in a row just right after waking up so my data can be transferred and show up on my Fitbit app. However, I do understand if you started having to do this after the update.

With that being said, I'd recommend trying the following to see if that helps your case specifically:

Please note at the moment there's no way to revert the Fitbit app to the old design. I'd like to invite you to take a look at this post to get the most out of the new Fitbit app.

  • Unpair your Luxe from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Luxe.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Luxe.
  • Set up notifications again.
  • Once your Luxe is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Luxe first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

Regarding the new Fitbit app, please note at the moment there's no way to revert the Fitbit app to the old design. I'd like to invite you to take a look at this post to get the most out of the new Fitbit app.

Additionally, I'd like you to check this blog to get more information about new updates coming soon to the Fitbit app.

We hope to see your vote!
