Hello!
I was gifted a Luxe and just unboxed it. I’m having some trouble with getting it to charge. I just gives me an error saying “Check Charger, Battery not charging”
I’ve tried using every USB power source I have included my laptop and car stereo, and none of them work. I’ve searched the forums here and tried troubleshooting it. I’ve tried the 3x button press restart on the USB cable, as well as deleting it from Bluetooth settings and re-installing it to the FitBit app. Based on the posts here, this seems like this has been a reoccurring issue over the years. Is there another fix I can do myself to get this thing going? Seems like support tickets take weeks and even months to get resolved, and I’d just as soon ask for a gift receipt and get a Garmin if that’s the case. Mind you, this is was a BNIB factory sealed Fitbit that hasn’t even been worn yet.
Thanks

Good News!
I was able to get the FitBit returned and am upgrading to a Garmin. Apparently Luxe battery issues are very widespread. The upsetting part is FitBit seems aware but is just turning a blind eye to them…
Oh well, I guess it’s not my problem anymore.
Good luck y’all, hopefully your devices keep working trouble free 🤙

I’ve had it on the charger for and hour and the battery is down from 17% to 8%. I reckon it’s going to die, and basically be a brick at that point.

With the last few percent of battery life I tried one last full uninstall and re-install. I also read a post and someone said swapping clock faces temporarily fixed the issue for them. I tried that, but no dice. Still have the same problem.
