I was really excited to see the new readiness score released, but it is by far the most useless feature introduced yet. I do relatively intense exercise, CrossFit and weightlifting primarily, but prioritize having a rest day approximately every 3rd day. If the score is out of 100, which it claims to be, I would expect to see pretty significant variations in the score based on amount of sleep, exercise, and HRV. However, 8 days in, I have received a score of 10 out of 100 almost every day, despite 7-9 hours of quality sleep almost every night, not a single HRV score outside of my normal range. How does that equal a 10/100 readiness score? In a normal grading system a 50% is failing, is giving a score of 10 day after day even when you've followed the recommendation of a rest day with nothing but light walking and mobility work really necessary or motivating for that matter? Is everyone else getting these useless arbitrary scores, or is there something wrong with my device?

I am not even getting a score even though I haven’t taken my Luce off!

There's a thread discussing DRS:
https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Mind-Body/Share-Your-Daily-Readiness-Score-Here/m-p/5008955
I get quite a high score and always the same comment "Excellent readiness", regardless of what I do. I find it strange that the recommendation usually tells me to get more AZM for a lower score and less AZM when my DRS is higher. On Monday, when I had "Excellent readiness" again, I had to cancel my planned bouldering session because I was too exhausted after two consecutive days of racing while Fitbit wanted me to go intense again. I don't understand what the score is really based on and what it even means.

Mine is somewhat similar. I do light exercise almost every day like walking or riding a bicycle, weights or kayaking. Nothing real hard or aerobic. Day one I got 37, next day 23 and then 1 each of the next 5 days in a row. A 1 indicates I need to rest and sleep. I get 7 hours of sleep a night and scores avg 87. One of the days I relaxed all day and just walked my dogs once. Still a 1. I doubt this feature is really measuring anything of value

My score appears to directly relate to whether I ate carbs or even small amounts of sugar and whether I stop eating 3-4 hrs. before sleep. On days when I eat very little carbs or sugar my next day score is in the 90's regardless of how intense or reduced my exercise is and regardless of sleep quantity or quality. At least in my case it is directly related to metabolism and nothing else.

Update-After a few weeks, my Readiness Score was pretty much always between 50-90. I noticed that it didn't coincide much with exercise or sleep habits or drinking. It just says to get exercise every day, which I already adhered to. I do not place much reliability in this feature currently. But I do like many features like steps and zone minutes seem to be relatively good indicators of how I'm doing in terms of exercising

I've been using it for about 5 months now and don't find it incredibly useful. I was just sick covid for 5 days and I got 90 to 100 readiness scores everyday, despite having a fever for 3-4 of those days.
I also was on vacation a few weeks back and was walking 25k steps a day for a week and it also gave me 100 readiness scores then, despite my body telling me I was exhausted the last few days. I guess because despite all that activity, there weren't "zone" minutes. That algorithm needs to be tweaked.
Generally the score is somewhat in line with how I feel, but the 2 incidents above make me wonder why I need it. I can do the math on whether I slept well and had intense workouts recently.
Somewhat related - the stress management score did a better job of showing me I was worn down from the vacation and when I was sick. On vacation it was 10 pts lower than my usual, and when I was sick, it was almost 30 pts lower than usual (hands down my lowest scores in 6 months).

Mine is also all out of whack. It’s either super high or 1. I do an aerobics or weight session 3 times a week and light exercise on other days. However each time I do a weight lifting or aerobics session, it sets me back down to 1 for several days agter (3-4 days) despite good sleep ) and being in good shape. (This has been my routine for years). The only thing I can think of is the first week I wore my fit bit I was moving and so wasn’t getting my regular “intense” exercise.
i can understand getting a 1 if I push myself really hard, but these sessions are my usual and what I have done for years. It just doesn’t add up to swing from 100 to 1 so suddenly - and frequently.
