Calorie counting vs WW points

ANSWERED

I love the way mfp syncs with fitbit. But is there a way to change calorie counts to WW points? I know I'm asking for the best of both worlds... WW is such a ripoff and I'm loving my fitbit. WW counting points works for me but fitbit and mfp is so much better.... except counting calories.

Hi! I just read your reply and want to thank you for taking the time. I
agree with you completely! I'd rather count calories now that I've gone
back to it for probably about the 400th time. I have tried every diet ever
out since 1970 and am still about 50 lbs. over what I'd like to be and
about 70 lbs. that the charts say I should weigh. I fall off my diet when I
get frustrated that I lose about 5 lbs in 2 months of staying mostly on
track and walking. But I am excellent at gaining back those 5 in less than
2 weeks. Then I try again. Counting points was good for awhile, but I saw
no results. I felt better, I may have even looked better (no bloaty look)
but I was on wwplus and I don't think telling me I can eat all the fruit I
want was a good idea.lol Anyway I've never replied before but I could tell
you have been where I am. I am using fitbit and it does make me try to walk
and move more.

I JUST discovered an app called iTrackBites. It's basically I verbatim ripoff of weight watchers. And it sinks with your Fitbit account, you choose your program, have access to TONS of receipies, tracks your food just like Fitbit with a scanning function, and there are forums for getting a little more inspiration or motivation if you want it. there is a free version, but I just went for the full deal. As opposed to WW being 25+$ a month this app is only $37.99 for a year. I've never done WW but I've known people who had successful outcomes. And this is the same exact program with a super cheap annual price and all the connectivity of the Fitbit app and added bonuses. Sirously, check it out.
