Calorie tally in the app isn't matching up

In the homepage of the app, the tile says it's 106 cals over target.

When I tap into the Food tab to see the breakdown of what I've logged, it says 220 cals over my budget.

Does anyone else have this issue - if so, how do I fix it?

As far as I can figure, the 'target' and the 'budget' figures are two different things.

The 'target' is your 'Calories' goal setting (located in 'Energy Burned' -> 'Activity Settings') plus or minus your 'Food Plan' setting (located in 'Food' -> 'Food Plan').

The 'budget' uses your actual activity that day instead of your daily goal settings for calories burned, so if you do a lot of exercise your 'budget' for the day will increase but your 'target' will not.

Confusingly, both figures appear to change throughout the day as they seem to take the time of day into account.  The difference between 'target' and 'budget' would be much clearer if 'target' was fixed for each 24 hour period and only the 'budget' figure was based on activity levels and time of day.

I may be wrong on this - this is just my best guess based on observation.

EDIT - I was wrong.  I waited until nearly midnight, checked the 'target' value and it did not equal calorie goal minus food plan goal.  I have no idea why 'target' and 'budget' are not the same number.
