February 2017 Step Goal Challenge.

ANSWERED

How It Works:

The purpose of this challenge is to keep track of your daily step goals for February, 2017. This is not a competition to see who can do the most amount of steps, instead it is a challenge to measure your consistency . So whether you do 100,1k, 5k, 10k or even 40k steps a day, this is measuring how many days out of 28 for the month can you hit your goal.

Some of you might have a constant goal of 10k steps every single day and some might have a variable goal throughout the week, for example.

Monday -> Friday = 10k steps a day

Sat & Sun = 6k steps a day

Regardless of how you structure your daily goals, the only thing that matters for this challenge is whether or not you reach what you set out to do.

Suggested Posting Format

1) Post either your constant or variable step goal.

2) Keep track of the # of daily goals achieved / 28.

Optional

3) Post either your constant or variable calories burned goal.

4) Keep track of the # of daily goals achieved / 28.

Injury Notice

If you injure yourself during the month and decide scale back the number of steps due to the injury, then all you have to do is adjust your daily step goal for that period. If you normally do 10k steps a day but pull a hamstring and decide to do minimal walking (2k steps a day), then all you have to do is change your goal.

17/28 for step goal. We'll see how today goes for me so I can put 18/28.

I went WAY over my cal limit last night. Ugh.

I'll just have to be more careful today. Met my burn goal, though.

Plantar fasciitis is so annoying. Yesterday I met my step goal because I had so much to do, and even with the 6 stretching sessions and icing thrice, I was still sad and sore by the end of the day. Kids can't go to dance class today because my daughter is sick, so I'm hoping for a more sedate and repairing day today.

I'm traveling this week and I thought I would get a good number of steps today during the day but it just didn't work out that way.  I ended up coming back to the hotel and went and made up most of my steps in the gym.  I meant to pack a swimsuit (put it out) and ended up forgetting it.  Oh well, I'll have to wait for a real swim until April.

Got my 10,000 in before dinner.  Went out to dinner with colleagues from two other plants (not the one I'm visiting, just happened that they were here this week).  Had a wonderful dinner but probably should consider going down to the 24/7 gym and burning some more calories before bed.

Ugh, another "town" day, too much driving. Got funny looks from a store clerk, my wife was looking at shoes, so I walked the perimeter of the store several times while waiting.
