I am the exact same weight as I was when I got my Flex 3 1/2 months ago!
How about you?
I'm hoping with Spring here and Summer around the corner, that my walking will increase.

Yes, that is why no company sells weight maintenance programs. Too many people mess up. You can be good 5 days a week and a little bad 2 days and slowly lose weight. I lost 40 pounds back in 2003 and it took me 10 years to gain it all back. Better than most. Now I've lost 65 pounds and I have to be even more diligent.

I have lost 21 lbs since I got my flex. It is just amazing how much it motivates you. I still have 64 lbs to reach my goal weight. I am a 45yr. old female looking for any motivation from Fitbit friends. Add me if you like.

Mmm...I got mine in November, and I'm down 7 lbs. I had lost 13, then gained them back, etc... I have been focusing also on NSVs (Non-Scale Victories) and honestly, Fitbit has helped me realize that ... I really did NOT drink almost any water at all! There would be days where I would not drink any water whatsoever (wtf?!) and my "oh yea, I exercised" was really just puny starts. I may not have lost much since November, but I am a LOT more active and aware of my diet, my activity, my nutrition... I'm using the kinda hard food goals and I'm now actually aware of what it is that I am putting in my body, and whether or not I am really hungry or is it just a craving that I do not need.
I've gotten a lot more active and using the exercise calendar I have seen it change from no more than 8 checkmarks for the month, to 3-6 checkmarks a week! Have I gained muscle? Maybe? I just know I am a LOT healthier thanks to the fitbit, and these changes actually happened quite recently, like 2-3 months ago. The first few months I was not taking full advantage of it, and while I wanted to lose weight, I was not commited.

I have lost nearly a stone in 11 months. I spent 6 months just concentrating on being more active. Then I started trying to eat 1000 calories less than I burn 4 days a week and not more than 1600 calories on the other 3 days. This is working for me. I lose between a pound and half a pound a week. Very occasionally I do a 5/2 day to give it a kick, but I don't do this regularly.
Doing this has made me more aware of the relationship between activity and food. Having 3 more relaxed days over the weekend means I can still have treats so I don't get bored.

I have only lost 0.7kg but my percentage bodyfat has dropped 8%. Building muscle and burning fat at a steady rate!

A combination of having the calories burnt figure from my Surge, and keeping a food diary on the fitbit app has led to me losing a couple of inches off my waistline.
I understand neither my food diary, nor the calories on the surge are perfectly accurate, but having an idea when i'm having a bad food week, gives me a good incentive to get to the gym, or go for a run.
Its also good when im having a very active week, and i can be a bit naughty with food.
Keeping a food diary has really been the key for me, it really is the key for me.

Hi Rocker08. Are you using the fitbit application for your smart phone? It makes logging your food very easy and it can also scan the barcodes of food when you are out and about. Also have you set up your daily calorie count so as you log your food you can tell if you are over/under your target?
Excersize wise initially its about small steps so depending on your fitness that could be walking down town rather driving or joining a gym and getting a PT. Some people find class excersizes less intimidating than just signing up for a gym.

I got my Fitbit Charge HR on June 22nd. I've been dieting and exercising for about a month and a half and I've lost 5 pounds. The fitbit helps me hold myself accountable.
My favorite feature is the fact that it keeps track of my heart rate. I work out 5 days a week for 3 hours a day and I incorporate a lot of cardio into my workout. I love being able to see when I'm in the "peak" zone for my cardio.
I'll be starting Topamax and Phentermine this month and am looking forward to seeing how much more I can lose between the meds and the fitbit!
