I am the exact same weight as I was when I got my Flex 3 1/2 months ago!
How about you?
I'm hoping with Spring here and Summer around the corner, that my walking will increase.

Excellent @sorivera @SunsetRunner, thank you for taking the time to share your progress and goals. It's great to know that you've found motivation with your Fitbit during these hard few months. 😀

I started losing weight before I received my Fitbit. I was about 235 and dropped down 16 pounds because of illness. I decided to continue trying and about that time I was notified of the opportunity for a Fitbit inspire from SCAN and decided I would sign up for one when January arrived. I received my Fitbit the end of January. At that time, I weighed 198. As I progressed I was thrilled with the improvement so I purchased the Aria 2 scale so I could also track my body fat index. With the scale I was given a trial of premium membership and discovered more ways to improve my overall health. The only problem was the Inspire I was given couldn't take advantage of the premium services. I didn't continue. Further along I decided to upgrade to Versa 2 and then signed up for premium.
Bottom line I am now at 160 with a body fat index of 43.5% down from 51.5%. I am currently working on reducing the fat ratio and I figure the weight will settle where it settles when I reduce my fat ratio.
I have increased my level of excersize since I've started my get healthy regime and am feeling much better. Also I've been increasing my sleep quality with the help of the Versa 2. When I started with the versa 2 I averaged 2 to 2.5 hours per night of actual sleep even though I was in bed for 5 to 6 hours. I am now averaging 5 to 6.5 hours with 7 to 8 hours in bed.
I would say this is a very good success. Thanks Fitbit!

Very cool bobrann.
Update on my progress. Hit my first goal to drop 12 lbs in 8 weeks. Set a second goal to lose an additional 10 in 8 weeks. Trying different workouts in Premium since I hit a little plateau when I was very close to that first goal. A little sore now which means different muscles got worked which is a good thing.

@Bobrann Wow! Losing 75 pounds is an inspiring success. You didn't say exactly when it all started so we don't know exactly how many months that took. If it was 12 that would have been about 1.5 pounds a week which is about perfect for not having a lot of loose skin. If you have a great "before" picture you could be an inspiration to others and win money from magazines too. Everyone who hopes to lose over 30 pounds should take a good before picture, don't you think?

I actually got sick in May of last year. It did take about a year and I don't have a lot of loose skin. I do have some but I've been walking and doing some arm pumping to help keep the skin from hanging as much. I posted a before and after on my page when I hit the year mark but that was a month ago. I have hit the 80lb mark and still have a little to go. I think of it as I only need to loose 10lbs. My first goal was when I received the Fitbit. I was at 198 so I set my goal at 190. When I hit 190 I reset the goal to 180. I never have more than ten pounds to loose so It's very doable. I'm 1 pound away from my current goal of 160. If I set the goal at my ultimate weight from the beginning, It would be too overwhelming, because I had over 100 pounds to loose.

I've lost 12 kg since getting my Inspire. My starting weight when I very first got it (I started using it at the end of September 2019 and got weighed at the start of October 2019) was 66kg and as of a couple of weeks ago I'm 54kg which is slap bang in the middle of the right weight for my height and the nurse told me not to lose any more, so I'm just trying to keep turning the graphs green now, instead of blue lol
I came out of hospital (Neurology ward - long story lol) in March 2003 weighing about 75kg so I've lost more in the almost 10 months I've had the Inspire than I had in the previous 16 years combined!
I'm also more conscious about how little I was moving during those 16 years. We got our rescue dog just over a decade ago and I was initially walking her once a day for literally 10 minutes a day. Since getting my Inspire, that's at least 55 minutes every morning and about 30 every evening now.
When I very first got it, I was struggling reaching the 2500 absolute minimum and most days it was barely registering and there certainly weren't any active minutes or 250 steps blobs in the app, but now it's at least 20k a day and I've even managed to hit 30k once too, which was a huuuuge milestone for me.
I'm also a lot more conscious of how much crud and empty calories I was consuming... there was oneheckuva lot of fat and sugar, take aways at least once a day and a home-cooked meal was a rare treat (I was lucky to get home-cooked food on my birthday and our anniversary in totally honest seriousness). That's totally changed now though - home cooked meals are now our norm and take-aways are maybe twice a month now. If it hadn't been for my Inspire then I would still be obese instead of having to buy clothes that are the next size down every couple of months lol Thank goodness for eBay is all I can say lol

I've had Fitbits since November 2015, mainly recording my steps but I noticed that my weight had been fluctuating between 17st 5lbs and 16st 7lbs over those years to April 2020. I bought a new Fitbit Charge 3 in November 2019 to kick-start my health regime, but nothing happened apart from my birthday, Christmas and New Year all involving food and drink and also the round of parties 🙄
Roll on to March 2020 and 'Rona and 'Lockdown', also I was 2 weeks off early retirement, what a way to start what should have been the next chapter in my life 😢. However, I became concerned re my health, being in Lockdown by myself and eating what I wanted to I made a conscious decision that I will not emerge from isolation being airlifted out of my home due to any weight gain. I started to religiously undertake 10,000 steps on a daily basis and watching what I ate, ensuring my calorie intake was made up of nutritious calories and not wasted on crap food, though I afforded myself flexibility if needed - I mean a girl has to have a glass of red wine at the weekends, right?. Then disaster struck 😧, the Fitbit purchased in November wouldn't switch on and unfortunately, because the store I purchased it from was closed due to the virus, I couldn't return it until it reopened 😢 - only one thing I could do and that was to purchase another one, so I bought a Charge 4 in April. On the 5 April I weighed 17st 5lbs (243 lbs to my US Fitbit colleagues) and I set a target of 12 stone/168lbs; to date I have lost 38 lbs, on my way to the 40lb badge 💃. Actively recording my achievements on Fitbit has definitely spurred me on, as well as checking the calories deficit and calculating what this would translate to in lbs lost (it's not an exact science but it does encourage me) In addition, I have attended ZOOM online HiIT, Pilates, Combat, and Boxfit classes which have been great. I've updated my steps limit from 10k to 12k daily but invariably I achieve 20k steps a day/5 miles average per day. Although I have a lot to lose, 75lbs 😱, I've set myself mini milestones and targets and focused on this rather than the larger number.
I'm halfway there, but my achievements to date are acting as major motivation to keep me going.

@AmandaGeorge @JojoTerry Good job ladies, both of you. Such success should encourage and motivate you to continue. You must know what you are doing. A good example for the rest of us. Hang in there even if you take a break and just maintain for a bit now and then, that is good too.

I rewarded myself with a Versa 2 when I reached -25#, since I got my versa about 10 end of July, I'm down -5.6#. I log all my food and watch my macros with a healthy plant based diet. I'm definitely more active with my watch and reach my activity and food/water goals everyday.

@JojoTerry Reading your earlier entry again I noticed you said your first fitbit didn't turn on. I don't remember the details well and you can check with "Fitbit help if necessary, but you might have been able to "reboot" your first Fitbit by holding the on button for a long time..
