Hi Folks
Do you know how Fitbit calculates the Weight Trend? I initially thought they used a 7 day average but when I did the calculation myself, my Excel graph did not match what is displayed in the app. What algorithm do they use to calculate the weight trend?
Hope to hear from you.

Hi, @coegalon there isn’t really a calculation. They just draw a “smoothing” line through the graph. If you want a more considered calculation, I would suggest linking your Fitbit account to Trendweight. Once linked' whenever you upload a weight to your Fitbit profile (or it is uploaded automatically via Fitbit Aria or Withings scale) you can see your trend on Trendweight. It gives you a graph and a calculated weight (which is often different from the scale weight).
