January 2017 Step Goal Challenge.

ANSWERED

Well, back again for the New Year!!!!

-This challenge doesn't have anything to do with USW, CW, GW, UGW, or PW.

-Instead, the goal is reach the most amount of daily step goals during the month January-2017.  Challenge yourself to hit 31 out of 31 days. Increasing the # of daily checkins increases the chances of achieving 31/31 days. If you discover this mid month, no problem just post away.

-In addition to steps, I thought it would be interesting to add a calories burned  goal as well.

Posting format:

1) List your daily step goal

2)  List the # of daily step goals achieved during January-2017

                  ------------------------------------------------------------------------

                                                           31

3) List your daily burned calorie goal.(Optional)

4) List the # of daily burned calorie goals achieved during January 2017 (Optional)

                  ------------------------------------------------------------------------

                                                           31

Good Luck everyone, all the best for 2017

My Goal is 10,000 steps a day and 3300 calories. I am still new to this. I just got my fit bit right before christmas and started using it December 30th.

Welcome @Chrissie2121!

I did not hit my targets yesterday. I was close on the calorie burn (2144), but no where near on steps (6,101). No regrets though. I had a fun day and took a nap! I needed to recharge my batteries. Not being willing to take a break and deviate from my exercise plan has caused me some injuries in the past. I've learned to embrace the recovery along with the sweat. If I don't get off my butt today though, I'll be annoyed with myself.

Good day yesterday.

Had kind of a weird weekend. Saturday at the bridal show had no problem getting my steps in but the calories were under, so I walked on the treadmill for half an hour that evening.

Sunday I deep-cleaned my kitchen and had no problems meeting the calorie goal, but my steps were under, so another another half-hour on the treadmill yesterday evening.

Step Goal: 8000  > 5/31

OK, I will try this.

Step goal: 10,000 per day.  So far, I've managed that goal since the 1st of the year.

Since my weight is about where it should be now, think I will skip the calorie portion. Would rather focus on floors climbed per day.

BTW, what do USW, CW, GW, UGW and PW stand for?

@benvegi

I think they mean this...

USW = Ultimate Starting Weight

CW = Current Weight

GW = Goal Weight

UGW = Ultimate Goal Weight

PW = hmmm, not sure, previous weight maybe

Made it on the treadmill for half an hour for the third day in a row. I'm just walking for now but I want to see how long I can keep this up.
