6th Update
Just sort of hovering above 160, ugh! I keep adjusting my goal weight up! I gotta be reasonable. Honestly if I can just get and stay out of the 160s, that is my first step. I will get there.

CW: 161.4
C GW: (149) adjusted 157
GW: 139

Yes you will burst through 160 very soon. We have 2 more weeks to go.
I'm finally to 137.7 after bouncing around 138. something for a week.
Weight loss sinces to go in fits and starts.
Any carbs that you can drop each day?
Best,
Barbara G
congrats Mermaid,
You beat the goal and have 2 weeks to go.
You are getting healthier.

Yep harder to lose the closer we get to healthy weight. Keep your carbs and sugars low, do your steps and it will happen.

Yeah for repairing your wall to the sugar craving. I like the measured almonds for emergencies.
I'm good although have had a low step weekend. Been listening to Erkhart Tolle and other teachers on u-tube and conscioustv.com. Did finally dip below 138 this AM as I saw 137.7 on the scale. I'm just 2.7 from my 135 goal and it is super slow going. Even if I hit 136 on Labor Day I'll be ok with it.
We can do this everyone.

great work.

I swear I looked at your numbers and thought it's too early for math, or my brain is aging too fast.
It's great that you reached your goal! Treat yourself to something special. For me it's usually time spent someplace with a nice view and a good book. (as someone on here said - ginabee?- food is only a treat for dogs). You have been through a lot for this - celebrate!
@WordWhimsy I know the feeling. I've been hovering between 171.5 and 173 for ages. But, I do know you will get there. Meanwhile, you had better start walking more, because I intend to pass you on the trail!
Barbara - You are so close! Those pounds just bend to your will. Though they don't necessarily do it the day you want them too. I hope you are feeling well.
I also want to thank you again for your support the other day. Especially that "stress melting hug". For me, it wasn't just that I ate something off my plan, but that, after spending all that money on organic food, trying so hard to be healthy, I ate pure junk - trans fats, sugar, salt, chemicals and all. YUCK. It is good to notice that when I think about it, I am really replulsed by the stuff I used to eat without thinking. Nice change.
This week I am back down to 172. I have been fluctuating between 173 and 171.5 for way too long. Labor Day or not, I am determined to get rid of those pounds.
I know my metabolism is extremely slow from my thyroid and being sedentary for so long. But now most days I walk at least 2 miles without foot pain. So....time to ignite that metabolism as much as possible.
@Bobbinyc we will get there! You will kick the 170s in the dust and I will leave the 160s behind!
And I have to say for the trail comment, "Challenge Accepted" it's a sprint to Stage 6! 😉
@P_Haze 30# since June is pretty amazing! You enjoy that Hawaii vacation! I have a half marathon scheduled for October 4th, and I certainly have some training to do before. We ususally go to Hawaii every few years, our next trip is at the end of January, and I can't wait! I really hope to reach by goal by then, if not sooner.
So glad everyone is having a positive week! Keep up the good work everyone 🙂
This week is proving to be the test of my sanity and limits lol
Monday is the start of the school year for my son, fall baseball starts tonight for him and continues through November, and I just got promoted at work which means more hours!! yipppeee!!
Now it's a race to squeeze in enough hours in the day....
How's the diet treating you? I feel as though I have more energy now that i'm eating good carbs vs bad.
