Well Labor Day is finally here and I didn't make it to my goal. I missed it by 7 pounds and I lost 11.7 pounds. Happy with the loss but would REALLY like to get that other 7 off. I got pretty sick in August and missed about 3 weeks of good working out. While I was sick I came within 3 pounds of goal but then gained back the weight once I started eating again. Well, I will just keep plugging along. I know I can lose some more. When I get the 7 off, I will be at the upper end of the healthy range on BMI. But I still have too high of a body fat ratio so will keep trying to build muscle and get that down as well. How did everyone else do?

Well... made it through the challenge. Yes!! it was a challenge. I also had a little help I wasn't able to exercise like I wanted to because I was sick for the past week after a nice vacation in Costa Rica. Bronchitis, flu and a touch of pnuemonia.
Yes, I hit the target. Now the challenge really starts - what will happen when I am 100% and start to eat as I should?

How do you get the time to walk 7 miles each day ?
Suzy,
Not sure who you're responding to, but I get up at 5:30 every morning, put on my walking/jogging togs, drink 8 ozs of OJ and head out the door. I put in anywhere from 2-3.5 miles in walking/jogging.
During lunch, my office is connected to a mall and I get in around 3.5 miles walking both levels.
After dinner and Nightly News, I head out the house door again and put in about 3 miles walking.
Gets me home by 7 PM.
I normally get to sleep around 10 PM.
Worked and is still working for me...not saying it's for everyone, but I lost 130 lbs (300 to 170) in 9 2/3 months with this exercise and strict dieting.
