I'm new to Fitbit and very seriously trying to lose some weight, I have at least 100 pounds to lose.
My boyfriend has been very supportive to me and is dieting/exercising as well but I definitely need an outside weight loss buddy.
Anybody!
Let's do this together, guys! 😄

I want to lose 81 lbs (the doctor charts would probably say 100 but I really feel too thin at that size). I would love to buddy up with you. I just got my fitbit 3 days ago and am liking it. My hubby lost over 100 lbs doing the DASH diet and adding exercise halfway through. I am going to try to follow his diet roughly since I already cook that way...but calorie count. I am wanting to do 10k steps and at least 30 active minutes.

Hi Ladies, I would love to be a motivational buddy. I have lost 46 pounds over the last couple of years and am pushing to loose an additional 30 by the end of the summer.
I just got my fitbit yesterday and am motivated to move!
mum and i have been eating healthly and exercising and we have both lost over 70 lbs, I still want to lose a little bit more but i think i am pretty close to ideal weight, but it would be awesome to give you guys support with things i have learnt along the way, plus it is amazing to see people transform in a positive way
I decided to weigh this morning. I was very scared because my last time I tried to lose weight I was dedicated for months and saw zero change compared to my husband's 40 lbs. Well I am down 5.5 lbs! I know it is mostly water weight but it is a start!
I added you! Congrats on your weight loss and you can definitely lose the next 30!
Oh wow, congratulations on the weight loss! How long did it take you to get to that weight?!
Great! Add me
Best AnswerIt took me about 9 months. I have maintained that weight for two years.
My weight fluctuates about 8 pounds. I am at the middle of that flux right now.
The big thing that has helped me keep the weight off is weight training. I bought a program on Beach Body a weight training set of DVD's. I use them at least 3 times a week. It has made it manageable to maintain. With more muscle my weight is more forgiving.
My husband had a health scare a couple of weeks ago and I now realize it is time for me to step up and get my BMI into the normal zone. I am still considered "overweight" and I agree.
Needless to say I am motivated.
Let's do this.
I know when I started I thought it would be way too hard. But if we bite this off a little at a time we can be successful.
The way I use to eat and take care of myself was awful. Today I really know in my heart of hearts that anyone can accomplish this goal. It just doesn't happen overnight.
I have about 100 pounds to lose as well. I can only think about it in 10 pound increments or otherwise it's just overwhelming. I can be your weight loss buddy. This is my second day of using fitbit and I made it to the gym both days!
It's going all right. I just started with my FitBit Zip 🙂 And I've cut soda and most sweets from my diet (again, it always works). It's just become warm enough here to be outside a lot so I've been chopping some wood, walking/hiking the dogs, and hula hooping with my 3 pound hoop. So far I've lost one pound. I weigh 132 right now, and I'd like to be at 115-120, that is my normal range. Just, this winter, I literally ate like one full French Silk Pie per day. So it's time to WOMAN UP!! 😛 Hope we can motivate each other!
OK Let's fight like a girl.... we got this
I just got my fitbit in the mail a few days ago, but I've already lost 75 pounds. I started back in September and still have about 40 to go, so I'd love to join the group for support. Not sure how onw buddy's up, though -- this is my first foray into the community tab.
New to Fitbit! in 3.5 weeks have done over 70.000 steps but weight loss seems slow. Been going to the gym and at least 4 days a week, but have been fluctuating 1.2 lost and then gaining a lb here and there. Frustrated need some motivation.
